This Creamy Garlic Chicken is a rich, comforting one-pan dinner made with tender chicken cooked in a smooth garlic cream sauce. Easy, quick, and perfect for busy weeknights or special meals.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Red chili flakes (optional)

Equipment

  • 1 large skillet or frying pan (10–12 inch)
  • 1 wooden spoon or spatula
  • 1 knife
  • 1 Cutting board
  • Measuring cups & spoons

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Chicken
    Pat the chicken dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  2. Sear the Chicken
    Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.Add chicken and cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden brown.Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
  3. Cook the Garlic
    Reduce heat to medium. Add minced garlic to the same pan and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant (do not brown).
  4. Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce
    Pour in chicken broth and scrape up browned bits from the pan.Stir in heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning.
  5. Simmer the Chicken
    Return chicken to the pan. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5–7 minutes until the sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through.
  6. Finish & Serve
    Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use chicken thighs for extra juiciness.
  • If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of chicken broth.
  • For a low-carb version, serve with cauliflower mash or steamed vegetables.
